What course to play Dallas and austin

Me and my dad r going to be playing a golf course in Austin then in Dallas a couple days later. Wondering what our best options are? Wanting to keep it around 50$ or less each round.

I'm not a golfer, but several of the guy's here in the shop play every week around Dallas. I'll check with them and see what they say.




Edit: The guy's said their favorite around Dallas is Pecan Hollow which is actually in Plano. If you don't mind going into the hood, Steven's Park they said is good too.

I couldn't tell you what a nice course is, but I always enjoyed Lake Arlington, muni course.

I have a friend who sells fertilizer to golf course so he gets to play a lot of them. He said he really enjoyed playing Tenison Park in Dallas.

Dallas, Tenison Highlands course and Stevens Park both good ~$50 options

Come out to Crystal Falls. It can be a tough course but, the scenery is tough to beat.

Head up to Turtle Hill north of Muenster, about 1 1/2 hrs from Dallas.

Firewheel Bridges course in Garland.

Woodbridge golf course in Wylie just outside of Dallas. $20 bucks for twilight and is a good course for the money
