I know mike...... I apologize for starting the thread way too early. But I have hung a few stands over looking some well used trails going to water. I just haven't got the chance to hunt them yet.

Finally!!!! In a stand. Got a good breeze in my face. I have a heavy trail that comes from my right side that merges in front of me with a couple of crossing trails. I have a water source about 80 yards in front of me. As I'm writing this I can hear pigs over at it.

Well I found me a sweet spot for an ambush so I built me a blind. Cut a section of the bush out so i could back up to it. Drove two tposts and stretched some wire across. Cut cedar branches and stuffed them in the wire. Made a wire roof for the branches to lay on. I think it turned out alright.
