Poor Shooting on Hunting Shows

What is the deal with the atrocious shooting from these so called "Pros" on T.V.? Lately, I have seen more gut and hip shots (even a couple with a rifle) on animals than I can recount in the last 5 years combined. I've made a few bad shots but that was many years ago and early in my bowhunting experiences. I didn't have anyone to teach me how to bowhunt. These guys are loaded down with the latest equipment and do this for a living. I just don't get it.

They have to have a kill to get anybody to watch their show, so they feel pressure to take marginal shots. Nobody wants to watch a show every week when only 1 out of 5 or 6 episodes actually shows a successful hunt. Real world is boring.

Pretty pathetic to throw ethics out the window for, in most cases, a really awful television show. Have some respect for the animals you're hunting. Dbags!

I helped film a television episode with earl cambel , and he missed three different deer with a rifle,we had to edit his episode, bo jackson hunted with a bow and drilled a nice buck on his episode
