Most of our bucks are very non-typical, because that is what lights the rancher's fire, however we had two bucks that had typical frames and so much alike that only this year did we realize that it was two bucks and not just one. High fence and all we simply do not get that many good visuals.
In all of my years of hunting I had never seen such similar antlers, there was one 6" point that was not easy to spot that clearly separated them from each other. All other oddball points and stickers are essentially duplicated from buck to buck. This buck we called "Wide" and the other buck became "NPW" (No Point Wide).
I really like typicals and this one was as good as I could ever hope for so he was my target buck. Although we had trail cam pictures, I had never seen him in person this season until the moment of truth on 11/09/18.
