Rut in Eastland County

Any body been out yet in Eastland county seen any signs of the rut showing yet. Head down Friday early and just didn't know if anyone has seen anything yet.

They been chasing for a week or so here in Moran.

We are in Carbon. Had an 8 point following a doe but not really pushing her the other day. It’s thst time of year

Just now starting to chase a little north of Rising Star.

My son is in Cisco now. Said youngsters are chasing like crazy, but watched a larger legal buck in the food plot eating watching the younger ones chase. This was last night.

They been chasing for a week or so here in Moran.

Yeah, my hunting partner has been out there all week and told me the young bucks are running uncooperative does all over the place. A young 8 point came within inches of T-boning his truck on the county road yesterday. It is going to be another 10 days before I get out again - hope the wise old bucks will be on the prowl.
