cotton seed question

For those that feed cotton seed, is it OK for it to get wet? I have read yes and no. If it does get wet, do the deer still eat it or do you have to scrape it and toss it?

Gets wet every time it rains. No issues. All our baskets are just like what you see in the back ground

Nobody would feed the stuff if you had to keep it dry.
