Lens Advice

Just got a canon T2i body and looking to fit it with a lens, so I need some advice. I am looking for a good general purpose lens. Really wanting a lens that "can do out all". Looking to use it for both indoor/ outdoor close range to small telephoto range. Currently looked into canon 24-105 f4L, but dont know if an L series lens gets me that much better quality pics then the cheaper canon lenes. Any advice from the greenscreen experts would be appreciated.

Look at the thread "Ranch Pics". He was using the 24-105L.

Word of advice - the quality of your lens is much more important than your DSLR body. Always purchase the highest quality lens you can. Your lenses should be about quality, not quantity.
