    Staggered gc tires

I probably won't for aesthetic reasons but is there a reason not to do this? I can't really think of one. Seems like it would be easier on the front end, easier to steer, it's two wheel drive anyway so i could run a cheaper probably longer lasting a/t style tire up front, It'd bring my total width closer to equal (spindle lift) without a rear spacer, less ground impact etc. Talking about width and tire style only with same wheel setup and height.

You talking about running a bigger or smaller tire up front? Only issue I see is with rotating them every so often

Was the norm for years on 2wd trucks, factory tires up front with 12.50x33 in the rear

^^^^^ Wasn’t a 3/4 ton in high school that didn’t run that way

You lose the ability to rotate them properly.

It was mostly done on 2wd farm and ranch trucks. Factory tire on steel axle and larger mud tire on drive axle for traction. Seeing little highway use, rotation wasn’t a big concern.

In that case yes it should be fine as long as you don’t need the extra width up front to help with flotation in mud.

Most if not all SxS are set up this way.
