Thanks guys, I'm on the same page with the second buck.
Didn't think the first buck was quite that old.

He may be 5.5, but he's thick. His head is pretty triangular as well, that's what made me say 6.5

Thanks, Here's the buck I took last year. Had him at 6.5.
His antlers aren't much to look at , but the satisfaction of outwitting a ol' east texas buck was more than enough gratification for me.

Not sure how this is relevant to the thread, but yes sir I was and Mr. Greensuit himself looked him over in the walk-in and had no question of the antler legality on this 6.5 year old deer.
