I’ve used power pro and spider wire. Both work the same and if you go cheaper up the test a tiny bit. Then I go to mono or floro leader.

I use Power Pro 20 lb in green. I have Fins wind tamer pink on my wife's reel and it has been working good as well and appears to be a little more stiff to prevent backlashes. I have been wanting to try the new Fins Pitch Black as its not supposed to loose its color.

Been fishing Spiderwire for years with great results as well.

Don’t think you can wrong with either.

A lot of folks love Power Pro, that was the first braid I tried, I hated it, went back to mono for a while. You’ll likely go through a few brands before you find the one you like.
