    My First Axis Buck

Sorry it's not a bow kill but I went out this evening and shot my very first axis buck. I had two bigger ones in my scope today but couldn't get a clear shot ended up shooting this buck down in a dark creek bottom and I'll be honest he did have some ground shrinkage, but I'm still thrilled to have my first axis buck down and some more good meat for the freezer. My wife was there for the show so that was icing on the cake.

Easy to have ground shrinkage on axis bucks. Congrats on your first one, he's still a nice one.
