Where does my guy, Dirk fall? I realize not top 5, or maybe 10.

        Look at them #s 1st...

Not sure I agree with this, besides pippen most of the bulls players were a bunch of role players. Most of the teams the bulls beat had a pretty good 1/2 punch of their own. Payton/kemp, penny/shaq, Stockton/Malone.
Lebron has made a lot of finals but that’s mainly because the east s u c k s!! If the cavs were in the West they would be a 3-6 seed every yr and prob only makes about half of those finals. He also had the first star stacked team of this generation when he made “the decision”! He also has had the ability to basically pick his own teams since he left Cleveland originally. Maybe we should have a debate on who is the worst GM of all time

I am coming around on how good he is and I def think there is a strong argument for top two GOAT’s but to say he has done more with less is not a good argument to me.
I will also add, most of my thoughts are before this yr, he has def carried them this playoffs. Like D-MO said it’s def getting close and a good debate between the two players.
I look at it in tiers

            MJ
            LJ
            Kobe(distant 3rd)

            Magic
            Bird

            Honorable mentions
            Shaq
            Hakeem
            Kareem

Forget everything I just said, lebron is doing more with less, his team has next to no basketball IQ, that was a horrible way to end a game.

Not sure I agree... Lebron is the best player in this era... MJ was the best in his era.. Guys actually played defense back in MJs times... I don't know any player that could defend MJ one on one back in the day so I know no one could do it now!! Just my take...

                      No no no

Jordan won 6 ( may have won 8 in a row if he didn't go play baseball)

Lebron has been 9 times and only won 3..

                      Russell won 11 titles in 13yrs, ( that's freaking crazy )
Kinda like UCLA and Wooden's winning streak

The problem with that argument being, that James has called the shots on who he got to play with, and called them WAY wrong. Thusly hurting his team.
