I have been shooting mostly Gold Tip Traditional shafts for a long time now. For some reason I was always wary of cedar arrows. A good friend talked me into trying a test kit from Elite Arrows so I gave Paul a call a couple weeks back. They showed up while I was at Bownanza and I couldn't wait to shoot them last night. First thing I noticed is they seem so quiet! Two of them are pretty similar weight wise to my Gold Tips (one is a good bit heavier) but they just seemed to quiet the bow down...seem silent during the draw also. Maybe its just me. Anyway, I was frazzled after my long drive home and couldn't get much in the way of consistency so I need to spend more time with them and see what spine the old Superstition likes best. Plan to hunt them this fall if I can get them flying like I want!
