Got my newest version done last week. I hate to say this but Im almost ready for deer season to be over so I can start hunting pigs at night again. A few weeks ago I got my YHM 6.8SPC upper and put it on the rifle. I have only tried one load in it ( Hornady 120gr SST ) and it loves it. Will be a fun spring/summer.

Do you put that behind a day scope?

No, it is a digital camera with a lense. The crosshairs are made by using the "privacy zones" in the cameras software. Looks just like regular crosshairs or you can make a dot or whatever. To sight in you fire a shot and without moving the rifle, move the crosshairs to where the bullet impacted.

There are a few pics of the screen with crosshairs on a deer at my feeder at night using a previous version of mine but I dont have a pic using this one yet. I dont know if it is a "better" mousetrap but I like to tinker and it is cheaper than the store bought ones though after these various versions ( generations?) Ive made I probably am fast approaching the cost of a store bought one....but like I said, I like to tinker. The camera Im using used a Sony Effio CCD chip. I buy it basically as a component part that I attach a security camera lens to. I machined the housing from aluminum tubing with the ends from plate. I will try to take a pic of the screen tonight.

Here is a cell phone pic I just took. The feeder is right at 100yds away. Keep in mind there is always some loss of clarity when posting.

( this is my back yard, hence the ball in the pic )

Hate to even post this pic because it looks nowhere near as good as it does in real life . I had a heck of a time getting the phone to focus and it kept varying light/dark. It may be a setting on the phone, I dont know.
