Have hunted in Dimmit for 6 yrs.

Have always seen good deer.

This year not so much.

Any one else who hunts here have similar experience?

Projection for next year?

2011 was a dry tough year and poor fawn survival so that may be part of the problem.

we've seen some good bucks just not the number of years past,

It's been very slow in maverick County this year. It has been so green they really haven't had to move much. Hoping this weekend they are more active.

Yep. Way too green. Can see TONS of bucks while driving around but not so much at a feeder or corn line.
