My Brother, Border Patrol Agent, could use some prayers

Oh man Brandon, sure sorry this has happened to your brother!! Man, those BP guys out busting brush have one of the most dangerous jobs in Law Enforcement!! I got to know a bunch of agents in the 31 years we hunted on the Rio Grande south of Del Rio on the Moody Ranch... Some great guys that are GREATLY under recognized for the job they do!!


Lord we come to You now on behalf of our brother Mike asking for a special dose of healing, mercy and comfort for him as he recovers from his injuries. Lord we lift him and all our border agents and ask You to protect them all from harm. Keep them safe and give them insight as to how to best do their jobs. Lord, we ask You for healing from Mike's injuries. Keep him from infection and keep his scarring to a minimum... Lord we know that scars are a reminder that our past was real, but Lord because of the nature of his injuries, we ask You to keep his scarring to a minimum. Lord we also know that a scar is an indicator that healing has taken place and there is a new normal from that point on. Though this will be true for Mike, again, keep his visible scars to a minimum we ask. Guide his care-giver team to a successful treatment for his injuries and heal his mind and heart in this as well. Keep him strong and show him that Your are holding him in your arms and protecting and healing him. Be with the rest of the family especially our brother Brandon as he stands by his brother. Give them all comfort that is in the Hope that You give us. We ask these things in the strong name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

No eye damage but the limb penetrated his cheek and roof of mouth and was close to penetrating his throat . Broke off it appears from pics. Won’t post the Pics but it’s graphic . Very lucky he is alive.
