It's only a matter of time. If you treat something as dangerous as that with that much disrespect it's gonna come back on you one day. He won't think he's such a bad*** when he's layed up under a cactus cryin because his hand feels like it just got ran over and set on fire.

You can get by with a lot more than you realize, I've grabbed them by the tail and pulled them out the den. When they get defensive and wanting to fight you can get them to strike several times and they'll slow way down. It's still dangerous and you will get bit if you do something stupid or get careless, but you'd be amazed just by watching and learning their capabilities and weaknesses.

Looking on their FB page, they kill hundreds of rattlers on that ranch. There are pictures of 20+ dead snakes on a tailgate.
