Just counted 8 dead deer on side of the road. Literally 6-7 of them were a couple miles west of town. Either they are moving like crazy from this cold front or the rut is in full swing (which is late unless it’s secondary rut). Either way, lots of meat on the side of the road. Only a couple looked like young bucks. Glad I’m headed out to prep some spots do tomorrow!
