Not worth arguing. Let them line up should they....come bowl season.

One has beat 2 non P5’s, the other two top 25 P5’s. All we have is the here and now.

Neither team is good.

Texas D looked salty. They were physical. Turpin absorbed some big shots. He is a tough dude.

Horns still have slowest developing options ever. How about that throw behind the line that took 5-6 seconds to set up. I couldn't tell if there was a read before that, but watching Sam I am guessing no.

Great win. Second game where team looked engaged for four quarters. Definite progress.

Let’s get one thing clear. Texas is not good, Texas is not “back”, but... this was another step in the right direction!

Good teams win, great teams cover!

VERY unlikely for either, but just to play the game...

Horns would be in CFP (assuming you're including CC game in the hypothetical), Unlikely for Ags.

That said, not even worth debating at this point in the season.

Would be nice if they met a bowl this year.

I thought for sure the ags would be less than 22. I was thinking 12-14

Is Clemson (and the ACC) in jeopardy of not making the playoffs , even if they go undefeated, due to lack of competition in ACC? VT lost to OD, BC ousted by Purdue, Miami loses to LSU, Louisville crushed by Bama, FSU is horrible. Narrow win over the Ags while Bama rolls them. Where do they go for a quality win?

I still like what the coaches are preaching and the players are repeating, as well as the effort, even in a blowout loss, but what have you seen out of Bama so far this season to realistically expect them not to win this game by 22 (at home)? Fortunately, Saban decided to be stubborn with the inside run in the second half or things could have been even worse.

They gotta start winning them all by 30+. And they may just do it on their run through the ACC.

I love college football! Looks like Tech could be dangerous going into conference play. Army giving Oklahoma all they can handle. Old dominion knocking Va Tech with a QB that had one division II scholarship offer. But can anyone beat Bama? Year in and year out, they’re consistently great. It’s just tough to win them all, and I suspect they won’t make it through the season without one less than stellar performance. Time will tell.

If Clemson wins out, they’re in. They’ve built a name for themselves and respect across the college football community. Big 12 is gunna be a slugfest and I doubt anyone comes out unscathed.
