        More time with family is worth a whole lot.
        My brother was making over 200000 a year over seas.
        Now he makes less than half that to be at home.

          Your family and your happiness are much more important IMO. We work most of our week and if it is a living hell, that is not good for you or anyone close to you.

                I just took a huge pay cut from being a refinery operator to being a pipeline controller. Hourly I didn't take much cut but the OT that I used to get it totally gone. Guess what I'm happy as ever and spend way much more time with my family. I forgot what its like to have all my off days and sit inside and work. Screw the heat and 500 + hours OT a year.
