As I type "another" I realize how truly blessed I have been to participate in two BH hunts. I was lucky enough to harvest one in 2014!!!!
I received a text from Mike a few months back saying he drew the same hunt I did. Mike is a retired Police Officer I worked with for many years. He asked me if it was at all possible could I help on this hunt.
It didnt take me long to say YES. This hunt is more like an adventure and must be done with live stock. So logistically we had to do some planning. All the plans were made and off we went into some of the most beautiful country you can imagine.
We found a lot os Sheep first thing but no shooters. Then out of no where a boss of a sheep is located in the tree line. Mike makes a great shot and a true trophy of a lifetime is on the ground. The feeling of accomplishment this hunts gives you is hard to describe. We did a total of 23 miles round trip on some of the best mules in the country and we made it in and out safely.
