OK, I see what may be the best times to do this, but are there any other times that are good after May? I do not retire until May 24/25/26th of 2020 and I would like to do something next year. Being a teacher would be hard unless I took some days off which may be possible considering they will pay you for sick days, but not personal days.

I need the best times to nail me one close to what Oscar has done!

Update: Round #2 ,We met around 9:30 am!!! As usual GarGuy was smiling and ready to get me on the water. We saw fish within 15 minutes of launching the boat. More to come!!! Cleaning fish....lol!!!

Oscar, you have had plenty of time to clean whatever it is you stuck and a whole mess of fryers if you brought the net in. Kidding with you,sort of. I may have had some time on the canals with hoops. When the water went to moving they would load up and be hard to roll over into the boat though.

Full disclosure.....this hunt was all about breaking my personal best of 7'4".....anything less I was gonna pass. [emoji106] I passed on literally dozens of 5 and 6 foot plus gar. More importantly I passed on a shot at 3 feet on a fish that matched my current record!!!!! It literally bit the trolling motor as I let off my half draw. I had to sit down after that decision.....I was shook!!![emoji33]
Here is a fish that tempted faith by laying in front of the dang boat too long.[emoji12]

This fish was spotted an hour later cruising.....I could not resist slinging another arrow![emoji2957] She was right at 6'3"......whew, I was thinking it was a foot smaller!!! More good eaten with these two!!![emoji6]
