training collars for small dogs?

I have a Toy Chihuahua and she is in her full blown puppy stage. I have been looking a training caller with no luck. All I find are the barking type. I want one with a remote to help deter her from running wide open when the door is open. Any suggestions for small dogs?

Following. Wife brought one home 3 months ago, after a few days I named her Juice.
Thats short for Beetlejuice, been try to find a vet that will do an excorcism. but a collar would be a big help.
