you got it. about 14" of travel...

The Ford Raptor is one of few vehicles with legitimate recreational off-road viability from the factory. The second generation, based on the new aluminum F-150, is coming out for 2017 with a set of shocks that should help it crush dunes even harder. Here’s what we know.

It’s also right by the wheel, the wheel will only go up so far before the entire vehicle starts to go up. I’m sure there was math involved to figure out at what point that happens

Im sorry but its pointless to run taller tires then install bracket that return your ground clearance to lower than a stock f150.

So many options for a great ride and long travel without sacrificing ground clearance

Oil reservoirs have nothing to do with the length of travel on shocks.

But this truck is lifted well over stock. So it makes this possible. It becomes much easier to do higher shock towers or hoops on once vehicle has been lifted other wise you having to cut through body to make the clearance.

Why worry about ground clearance to and from the mall?

Haha, I’m kind of surprised how many raptors I have seen driving around. I bet 1/50 has looked like it has ever been off the pavement.

Same clearance as the diff housing isn’t it?
You will high center before that gives you any problems.
