Update: Aging parents bucket list

I started a thread on here several weeks ago about my mom and a bucket list I’m putting together for her. If I knew how to add a link I would.

One of those items was to take her hunting with her and her best friend. We took off Friday night and got to the gate around 8pm. Got her settled and played cards and hit the sack early.

Saturday morning I sent my son to the tree stand and mom and I went to my spot. By 7:45, I was drawing back on the biggest buck I’ve ever taken with a bow. My mom was sitting next to me when I shot him. He’s not a PandY deer but he has split G1’s and he’s a deer that will hang on my wall, and some day my sons wall, and will be a reminder of a weekend money couldn’t buy.

Ask your mom what's the one thing she always wanted to do and never did. You might be surprised. My MIL, at the age of 94, revealed that she had always wanted to go to a live Pro hockey game WTH!! Unfortunately, she did not get that opportunity before she passed later that year.
