Twin buttes public land hunting ?

Ok guys i need to get the info on the public hunting land at twin buttes. All i find is basicly a map and the area. What i would like to know is i heard that you dont need a permit to hunt there just a licence, is this true ? Also heard it was shotgun and bow only is this true as well ? I know you have to have safety orange on. Also when dose it open for the hunting season ? Is there any camping there ?

Tlaw has it right. Hunted out there some... Some issues with thieves but that's public land for you...

there is not much camping out there, most people drive in from town. I have seen a couple pop up campers out there randomly but they are not that common. There is a KOA that is near the lake that you can camp at, but would still have a 5 min drive to TBR
