We hunt out that way and going rate is $8 an acre and this would only hold 2 hunters imo, wide open country.

The places we've been looking at are $3000 - $6000 per gun. That includes year round access, an abundance of game and/or exotics and lenient guest policy, water, electric, and access to a camp house.

I thought this was awesome. At the very low low price of just $92 and some change an acre you can enjoy remote camping with no electricity or water.

This is what we I have seen as well. Willing to spend it for the right place with exotics. Found one in Sonora but still trying to work out details but hopeful I find one this year with an abundance of exotics.

Usually when a place pops up I may be interested in I look up the county on Texasbuckregistry.com and see what they have in the low fence postings haha. I checked out a ranch in San Saba this weekend thinking I was going to meet some management minded guys, turns out what I thought would be a sweet deal was not that at all. These guys shoot anything they want and blame it on the neighbors.

Mexico Lease Available:
We are moving from our Guerrero Coahuila place, down to a ranch in Tamaulipas. Our current lease will now be available, and I am posting to help our landowner find a group.

The ranch has a fairly nice 3/2 house, very good blinds and working feeders (corn and protein) in place. Some really neat areas (big oak mots, mesquite and huisache arroyos, sage, and lots of buffalo grass). Not overgrazed.

4700 Acres, though I would call about Ĺ of the ranch Good deer hunting country, with the other half being low brush with off and on coal mining activity. The ranch has a very large low fenced neighbor to the S, and is HF on the N and W sides. Good water on ranch.

In 2017, we killed a deer in the mid 160ís, and passed on a 150 and two 140ís. Most of the younger bucks show some potential. We put a bunch of work into the place Ė clearing senderos, moving blinds & feeders, etc.Ö

1 hour from Piedras to gate. Price may be slightly negotiable, but in the 3K/gun rangeÖ
Our outfitter in Piedras will likely handle the showing & leasing of the place. He will charge a fee for his services, if a deal is reached. Any deal you can work out will be between you, the outfitter, and the ranch. I am simply passing along the contact & opportunity.

Serious inquiries only please. PM me and I can pass along the info & answer anything I didn't cover above.
Here are a few ranch pictures -Walker

I talked to the guy about this lease a couple weeks ago. If you plan on your kid hunting, you have to pay another $900 for them. They cant just shoot off of your limit.

Default top phrases that LO love to hear...

we killed a ton of deer the first 3 years, now we aint seeing any! whats the problem!??

well, the road was too muddy, thats why i cut across the fescue pasture.

im paying 3k per year to be here. driving past your house at midnight should be expected.

is there any way you could keep your cows away from my area?

i told your neighbor that we dont care how he does things over there.

do you mind if we use your cowpen panels for deer feed fence?

feel free to add your own. LO gets bashed way too much around here. now the empire strikes back!

I will probably have a couple of openings on my place in Hardin/Polk Counties. I have 4000 acres with 24 members. Leases renew March 1st. I give TBH'ers preference. If you're seriously interested PM me. It's $800 per year. Membership includes spouse, and kids under 18. No hunting guest allowed. You may bring help to set up your blinds, fill feeders, etc.. You are allowed two spots to set up in. Gun and bow are fine. Allotment is one trophy buck= 13" inside spread minimum. One cull=unbranched antlered buck. Two does. Your spouse and children may hunt, but count against the 4 deer allotment. This past season was the worst we have had as far as killing deer. The hurricane I believe was the main culprit. A lot of my hunters never even made it in the woods because they were rebuilding their homes. Hopefully everything will get back to normal and we will have a great season again in 2018. I will look through my phone and post pics of bucks killed or photographed on the property over the last few years.

Itís a generous offer to let someone bring help while setting up a location.

Victoria Deer lease,
Looks like we will have one maybe two spots on our lease. Our lease is on the McFaddin ranch which is about 30 mins south of Victoria off of Hwy77. Our lease is 3600 ac with 10 members. We have year-round access, and our guest policy is very lenient. Family and friends can hunt with member. Everyone brings their own trailer to sleep in, but we do have a cook shack and a bath house with overflow beds for extra guests. We are MLP, but I hear that will change this year. One of the big items for some of our members is that full payment is due end of February. This is a coastal ranch without much elevation change. We have some good, heavy deer. This lease is not cheap, if you think you would be interested please pm and I will get back with you. Thanks, Greg
