Colorado public land black bear mount questions

I was fortunate to shoot a black bear this year when elk hunting and am wondering about mounts and price.

Was thinking a mount like this.


Then possibly book ends out of the back feet.

I thought about a rug but small children and dogs make me double think it. Don’t have a banister or anything to hang it on.

Here’s mine from Canada a few years ago. I like the half life option with a good habitat. Though I don’t plan on shooting another black bear. Looks like you got a nice one btw.

$2200 for the half life. Thought it was absurd. One reason I won’t hunt them again likely.

That looks good looking at pricing I may lean full mount but I kind of like having one half mount and the bookends with the back paws so I have two trophies. Maybe one day give each of my boys a book end.
