    Marble Falls/Kingsland area hunting?

Lookin at a possible lease in the area next season. Not sure if I'm going to leave my current lease or just have a 2nd lease...
Either way, what can a person expect from the area

By this do you mean smaller than normal hill country deer or just simply hill country deer that, typically, on the small side

Depends how much pressure there is around you.
I’m in Burnet County 8 miles from Marble Falls. Have taken some nice bucks the last three years. 150”, 135”.

Probably small because no one lets them get over 3.5

This is true. I live in burnet. My best deer are 135”,138,142”,153”. There are good deer in the hill country. If you let them get age. and I don’t feed protein

Depending on where and what kind of neighbors. West of 281 is better
