Surf Trout 7/17, 7/18

Man was it on this weekend! I had been watching the surf forecast for the entire week and got ready. We hit the Surf on Sat. evening after work at Surfside beach and had a couple of limits before dark on shrimp and tops. This morning, we hit up the west end of Galveston and woke up to a much rougher surf, but still managed two and a half limits before 9:30.... caught on shrimp under a cajun popper. Im normally an artificial fisherman, but the three of us decided it was time for a meat haul
