My Trip to Falcon

I owed my nephew a fishing trip and we normally head over to Calcasuie, but the fishing for me has been off this year and while the red bite is pretty good the trout bite has been tough. My high school friend Matt Reed has been offering to take my fishing at Falcon for a while and I decided to take him up on it. Glad we did, and while the wind blew up to 30mph, the bite was on. We caught 1 over 9, 5 over 8, 5 over 7, 6 over 6 and too many 3-5lbs to count.

So Matt is a former BASS angler and current FLW angler that guides on Falcon. He fishes like Rembrandt paints. I told my wife, you remember when you were little and you traced over the dotted letters with a crayon, well that’s what I was doing, while Matt was doing calligraphy on the front of the boat. He put us on fish and explained to us how to catch them, we had an awesome trip.
