2016 Draw Hunts

2nd draw across the board with me...but I have won several the last few years so this year is more of a build up the points year.

One of my boys drew James Daughtrey either sex Dec 17-20. I'm thinking this should be pretty good rut time for that area??

My brother just texted me that he and our nephew got drawn for that same hunt.

Either sex for my daughter at Colorado Bend and antlerless for me at Fairfield.

Husband and I were drawn for the third hunt at Government Canyon, antlerless/spike. Hunt is during the week so I can deer hunt and duck hunt on the weekend. Works for me

My son and I got drawn today for gun deer antlerless at Garner State Park.

I will be there for the exotic hunt. Scout the axis deer for me!

Must be my son's year. He had 6 points and was drawn for Big Bend and Las Palomas WMA-Arroyo unit.

also got drawn for gators at JD Murphree - three in my group got two gators 8'3 and 7'4.

Having a good year so far, I'm 3 for 31 (never been drawn for 3 hunts in the same year before). Plus still more chances coming up. So far: javelina/wart hog at Chap with 2 group points, archery at Engeling with 6 group points, and does/spikes/axis at Garner with 11 group points.

Thanks! Jacob is pretty pumped about the fact that just me and him going away on a 4 day hunt and mom and brothers have to stay home.

If he drops a big ol buck, that'll just be icing on the cake!
