Default Recommend me an AR handguard

Needs to be
  1. Free float
  2. Light(er) weight
  3. Around 15"
  4. Economical

Need to replace the one on my 6.8, not sure what it is but heavier than I want to tote around trying to whack pigs with

I have a couple rifles with Matrix handguards in them that are great for the money.

I’m a big fan of STNGR. I’ve put them on 3 or 4 rifles and loved them

Chk out 2A-arms. Starting at midnight they will have some rails for $100. They are supper light. I just put a 15in on build I did and would grab another if I had another build to do.

Troy Alpha rails fit what you are looking for from a great company but they can be a little pricey. I have used one extensively and have nothing but good things to say about them.

What kind of hand guard do you have now?

If it were me I wouldn’t look any further than this.

I think it is a RRA Elite Operator 12.5 but not sure
I am sure it weighs about 3# by itself

I have a Midwest Industries on my AR10.
I like it cause its slim. I don't like a fat handguard.
