5R rifling or regular for 16" ar in 223 wylde?

I am looking at changing out the barrel on my S&W AR. Currently it has a 1-9 twist and I cannot get it to shoot bullets over 55 grain worth a darn. I was looking at a 1-8 twist and for $15 more I can get 5R rifling. Both my precision guns 308 and 6.5 creedmore have 5R. I understand the benefit of 5r. Does anyone have a 5.56/223 with 5r. Do you feel it is more accurate?

Both my 5r rifled barrels shoot lights out.

I have a Krieger 5r 20 in 223 wylde AR. I have only put about 10 rounds down the tube. The last three rounds were nosler varmigeddon 62 gr hp, it shot under half inch at 100 yards. I went back to field and stream and bought 200 rds in for that AR. I need to continue to break it in but it seems like it is going to be a super accurate AR.
