Default Opening weekend report

How did everyone do?
I took a turkey at first light and had this buck come in about 15 minutes later.
Wasnít a hard decision considering his age and the fact that I donít get to make the trip much with school.

Appreciate it sir! Acorns killed us last year. Seems to be the exact opposite for us now. Should be a great year.
Good luck!

Nice job young man!
The turkeys tail almost covers the sizable hole in that buck.
What heads are you shooting.
Congrats again!

Took my grandson for his first bowhunt this weekend. Didn't see any deer. As much noise as he was making and moving as he was doing it would take a Hellen Keller deer for one to come in. Explained this several times to him. He is getting better ,but patience is not his strong suit. Still had a blast and it is better than working any day.

TylerJ:

Congratulations on a great opening day hunt. I think your photo ought to be used for your family's Christmas card. Yes, it will give some people the vapors, but others will love it.

Regards,

Dave
