    Easy beans...that’ll burn ya!

    Found a bag of white northern beans in the pantry. Chunked em in the pot. Leftover rotisserie chicken, chunked that in there, one chicken bouillon cube, couple cloves of garlic. One pound of ham, cubed, in there too. Also some onion powder on account that we didn’t have an onion. What else. Oh yeah, a bay leaf....


    ...and two habaneros! Our plant produced 10 peppers this fall, and they are still turning orange. I used the two that had already ripened, and they cooked down with the beans over about 2hrs. It came out great! On fire, but not bad. Spicy enough to make you stop and get a drink, but not to the point that we overdid it. One son loved em, the other son had to stop and eat yogurt. Dang good.
