I always just use shinners. Why dont you post up what baits we should by so we dont have to steal from you.

          Fair enough!

We used plastics and hand ties in these colors!

Bonehead 2" slim sticks and stump bugs in
          Grapevine
          Palestine special
          Paradise
          Slick
          White lightning

Thermocline lures little fry and 2" tadpoles in
          Black emerald shiner
          Purple passion
          Go to
          Copper mine
          Blue glotruese
          Natural Shad

          Minnows will work fine too!

1/16oz and 1/8oz heads. Pink. Lead or chartreuse.

I use 6lb clear blue stren on my spinning reels. And 10lb Florocarbon on my baitcasters. I only put maybe 30/40 yards in each baitcaster. I can do 6 rods with one $12 spool of line. Floro doesn't last too long. I change it out every couple months. Tournament buddy used braid on everything. I personally don't like braid

10lb on a spinning reel is too heavy IMO. Uncoils too much.

Slew catches more fish than most of us. So I'd do what he does!

I only throw braid, 10lb braid for fresh, 15lb braid on my salt reels.

Just got two awesome old crappie poles from my grandma! Can't wait to get them set up! They are the old two piece collapsible 10ft poles with a small built in spool at the bottom for adjusting line length. Gonna whoop them spring sacs!

Well that might be it too. Anytime I spool a spinning reel I will unspool it 50/60 yards or so behind the boat as I'm idling out of the marina to let it uncoil then reel it in. Never fish with it until I do this. Even the 6lb line acts up until you do this!![emoji106]
