    Beer Brat Boil

Thought I would post this recipe up. An old friend of mines mom used to make these for us during football season and I do this every first Sat of college football season.

    Ms Menefee,s Beer Brats:

This is a good enough boil for up to 10 brats and Ms Menefee said the cheaper the beer the better (I don't have any cheap beer on me [emoji13])

Pour 4 to 6 beers in a pot
Add 1 sliced red bell pepper
    Add 1 medium sliced onion
    Add 1/4 cup butter
    Add Cajun seasoning to taste
    (Need more blaze from Blake[emoji849])
Stir and bring to low simmer
Add brats and get them submerged in the cocktail
    Simmer two hours on low
Add to hot charcoal to sear
Serve on buns with all the goodies in the pot

We have been boiling brats in beer before grilling for years but I've never thought to put onions and peppers in there and I've never used 4-6 beers for cooking. Sounds like a great idea

I do this as well. I use the cheap disposable aluminum pans and my gas grill. When you're ready for a best pull it out of the beer, grill and enjoy.
