A lot of folks have been asking for a cheaper alternative to the super clamp / bogen head setup. Well, the guy that makes these lives in Llano and he is one of my aunt's real estate clients. I was given one of his camera mounts for Christmas. Although it is not as versitile as the bogen setup, it's effective and less than half the price. The plate on top is attached to a ball that pivots and rotates in all directions. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

I bought mine at Sportsman's Warehouse in Round Rock. About $30.00 I think.
