I heard her say that yesterday on Fox news and one of the guys in the panel (not a regular, not sure who he is) said 'I'm a pro-gun liberal democrat who also happens to be gay'.

I think there is more support for basic conservative ideas than most believe, where conservatives loose is kicking out people over one issue or another.

The Dems welcome all the 'issue voters' from the environment, abortion, race issues, tax the rich, etc and somehow manage to pretty much keep them all under the same tent.
