We had a rash of thefts recently in our area. They are stealing control boards out of Apollo brand gate openers and the 12 volt batteries. They are busting the locks off the control /storage boxes and gutting them.

I guess the control boards are worth money.

Some electric gate opener installer/repair guy supplier can't keep up with demand, plus you can't beat the profit margins. Oil companies are installing them things by the thousands.
