My buddy just got the mavic. It was cool. battery life was longer and video was much better. Faster than my phantom 3. Packs down to almost nothing including remote The bad.: Not very stable in high winds (much lighter) and controls are hard to use if you have big hands. That's all I got.

Different animals. The Mavic cannot be beat for go-everywhere portability. The camera, stability, and controls on the 4 Pro are better than the Mavic without a doubt.
That's why I have both.
