We burned them, then new growth we spray w/Aquatic Roundup. Less and less come back. We stay on top of that so as to not get out of hand again.

AquaNeat or any pond safe Glyphosate should work. You can buy Roundup Custom which is surfactant free Glyphosate. then get pond friendly surfactant.

This. I work for a wetland management company. We use Roundup Custom on cattails and don’t have any problems killing what gets sprayed. Put your waders on and make sure all surfaces of the plants get hit.

Cattails are nasty. They will resprout for a while but you will kill them off eventually.
