I took this last Saturday off, and I got to work this morning to this picture...



They were supposed to be cleaning up my site, however I can only imagine how men/hours I lost Saturday trying to rope a rattlesnake... oh well, better than a bite I suppose

But I can’t say my guys would rope a snake
They are all scared of them

They are just proving that they are skilled. Now if one would have been bit when doing it would you be on the hook for workers comp? Probably would have never mentioned it happened when ripping it.

Hilarious! About 15 years ago I had the roof replaced on a house I owned in Cleburne. They were tearing off, but no decking, just lathe boards under a layer of cedar shingles. They found about a 5' rat snake up there in the attic and it looked like a ship going down with all the people jumping overboard.

I was laying a waterline through a muddy swamp area about 25 years ago. Two guys in the ditch, sanding the ditch and belling the pipe. I dug through a den of some sort and a bunch of snakes fell into the ditch with them. You’ve never seen people move so fast! Work day was over and nobody was very excited about coming back the next day.
