Late Summer/Early Fall coyote hunting

Does anyone have any basic coyote calling tips? I have an electronic call, and am going on a quick hunt around Dallas and am trying to make the most out of my morning/evening hunt. Just figured I would ask any tips on suggestions on calls/setup for this time of year.

They still get hungry this time of year so distress calls should work. You can also use pup calls as adults will challenge young dogs for turf and come to run them out of their territory
