    What is this?

    Can anyone help to exactly identify this animal?

    It is larger than any of the other whitetails on camera during the same time period; more "plump", if you will.

    I have seen pictures of those before, but don't remember what they are and where they are from. Kind of want to say they are from Asia, not sure. Shoot it and find out how they taste.

                    I don’t think it is a waterbuck, doesn’t have the white bullseye around the back end. I would guess Rusa or Sambar

                      It is a deer, a waterbuck is an antelope so it is not a waterbuck.

                      I was also thinking Rusa or Sambar but neither has a beard like the deer in the picture.
