I did the same during mulie season on a mulie doe at 236 with my .223 and Hornady 75 gr BTHP. Not much of long range IMO, but further than most would consider ethical for a 223 on deer lol

I agree not long range I consider 200-500 mid range. 223 is a terrible deer caliber!
