Glad you had a great trip. We had a lot of good LSU fans around us at the tailgate and at the game and everyone had a great time.

With the south end zone being in open i. construction you lose a lot of sound that way. It will be louder in a few years. Of course we have never bragged about being the best fans.

Had they kicked the first field goal there would not have been the interception inside the 10. Had they kicked either time that doesn't make up the 7 point difference. They lose by 4. The dropped pass on 4th was the difference.

Those WRs are studs. Those explosive plays were a huge factor in LSU scoring.

Even though we lost, I feel good about the future for my horns. Other years in the recent past they would have rolled over and gotten stomped. The culture has for sure changed.

Cosmi dominated klavon and even when they moved him to the opposite side Kerstetter was handing him as well! Nice to see an OL protect the edge.

Orlando should take some hits. A zero blitz pressure on 3rd and 17... doubt that happens again this season.

Absolutely they were sucking up everything in their area. There were several catches/throws defense had good position they just came down with it. Great game all in all Iím a fan of good football games and that was one!

The tailgate was nuts yesterday along with the LBJ Lawn. Just an awesome atmosphere from the the morning to the game. The heat was brutal but people took it like a champ.

Alright. Finally awake and read through the last 24 pages to catch up.

What a game. If you would have told me before LSU was gonna give up that many yard and that many points I wouldíve said it was a loss. But my man Joey B had him a day.

RB play left a lot on the table. Not sure why they didnít run either of the 2 freshman, mainly emery and see what he couldíve done.

Not saying that LSU should keep chanting the DBU moniker but they sure did keep the beast of a man Collin from having a monster game. The coverage on him was great. Duvernay and eagles went off though and are some studs alongside CJ.

Texas has a good team and I think should run the table in the big 12. Biggest threat is of course OU but I donít think they have the defense to stop Texas like LSU in the first half and I think Texas should beat them.

And lastly the cramping stuff. While I agree it sucked and slowed the game down and all the dang 3 min TV timeouts, but LSU offense was scoring on 2 minute drives and then Texas was moving it on 5 minute drives, the tiger defense didnít get any chance to catch their breath. Not saying it wasnít exaggerated but that plus how dang hot it was didnít help.

My bold prediction: these 2 make the playoff this year!

I was thinking if Ingram doesnít drop the TD pass, they kick the field goal next time down. The TD give up before the half was brutal.

Iím afraid my son learned some new words at deer camp last night.

I did and never gave a winner.

My point being LSU up tempo will make their defense play more plays thus giving up more points (a la Big 12) than they are used to giving up. Itís simple math.

Agree with most of this. I thought the teams were really even across the board. Both QBs played great. Both O lines protected their QBs. Both running games leave a bunch to be desired. Neither DBs played well but neither D line got much pressure on QBs. Great game that was back and forth. Had Texas caught the TD on 4th down in the first would have made for just a slightly more interesting 4th qtr. If they played tomorrow I'd have a hard time betting on or against either team as I feel they are really that evenly matched. Would love to see them play again in December.
