haven't been very motivated to hunt this year, but today I stopped by a place where I killed my biggest deer to date several years ago and was talking to the land owner and was asked why I hadn't set up stands or feeders the last couple of years. I said well I thought the last time I was here was a one time invite. and he told me that I needed to go pick a spot set up a feeder and stand and start hunting. Boy was I pumped. I found a perfect spot in a pecan grove next to a running creek.......I am gonna get set up this weekend and start hunting next week......There are some true wall hangers on this place and it has very little hunting pressure and it is free to hunt on and about 45 minutes from the house......I can't wait to get on stand now.......
