Does anyone know what the going price is for clean fill dirt (and what the going mileage rate is).
    Thanks

Select fill runs $6-7 per ton out of our plant in North Texas. If you had a buddy with a dump you'd save some dollars. Haulers charge anywhere from $175-200 for 10-12 yard loads. Of course that could be cheaper if you are real close to a plant.

We hauled 5 loads yesterday to my neighbor, we charged 175 a load, probably would have been at least 200 had he not been a neighbor.

I guess most of the cost is in the delivery.
We had a quote for some dirt work, I think of 22 +/- loads and prep work for house of 10k. There was a depression, almost small pond, that they said had muck that needed to be scraped off first, then back filled and packed.
I'm sure the dirt had to be hauled a ways, so maybe it will cost more than I was expecting.

We just had four 7 ton dump truck loads dropped at our house last week to fill our swimming pool in with -

It was $75/load if you wanted more than 1 load or $90/load if you only needed 1 load

This was here locally in Graham and the trip from the pit to my house was about 11-12 miles one way
